KISHZack Canepari, Drea Cooper

Daniel Kish is one year old when he loses his eyesight. Just like Tobias, the protagonist of Deaf Child, he refuses to be knocked down by his disability. Over the years, Daniel learns to ‘see’ by using sound.

A unique method that resulted in the loving nickname “Batman” and that made him the subject of this short documentary. By using experimental techniques, the filmmakers succeeds in visualising Daniels sonic vision to the viewers.

The short film will be screened before the feature film Deaf Child.
