Several years ago, band leader, composer and pianist Misha Mengelberg fell prey to dementia. Cherry Duyns follows this icon of European jazz during a week of performances at London jazz club Vortex, which is sure to be his last international performance. The band members, who have played with Mengelberg for several decades, prepare for the long delayed farewell.
