The cheerful chaos of teenage life is never as obvious as it is during the annual scout camp. A touching, recognizable portrait about the essence of adolescence.

Back home they are simply Maureen, Damien, Camille and François. But once they are at camp, they roll up their sleeves and become Castellan, Chickaree, Shiba and Akita. Isolated from the outside world, and out from under the watchful eyes of their parents, the scout camp becomes a unique universe. For two weeks, they will bathe in the river, they can not use their beloved smartphones and they have to get by on their own. Boys and girls spy on each other, crushes flourish, friendships are forged for life. A dropping forces these teens to take a stand, to be creative and to be leaders. When a girl receives her totem, it is preceded by a complex ritual of introspection.

"Scouts" makes you smile and makes you dream of the time when life’s little issues seemed so vital. A time of intense friendships, love, jealousy, envy, bumbling and pleasure and above all the need to belong.
