I KillDavid White, Paul Wedel

Follow Beatle, the kindest slaughter, and his way of working. He goes from farm to farm with his truck that says ‘I Kill’ and gets paid to shoot cattle. Let yourself be carried away in an exceptional story about the New-Zealand way of life.

I Kill follows Beatle, a man who earns his living by killing cattle. Beatle epitomizes an exceptional side of the New-Zealand way of life. He drives around with license plate ‘I Kill’ and his voicemail message is ‘I must be out killing, leave me a message’. However, he approaches his job in a serious and careful way. The documentary starts from the question if this man really likes his job.
Co-director David White knew Beatle already from his childhood. An anecdote from his youth, when he once was allowed to join his father and Beatle to see this last one working, did him think about a film about Beatle. That resulted in the short documentary I Kill.
