Nothing on earth is original, everything is based on something else. Mark Landis says it quite casually. For thirty years he has made forged artworks, that he donates to museums. Until Matthew Leiniger, an observant member of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, exposes him. To the rhythm of a hectic jazz soundtrack the cat-and-mouse game between Landis and Leiniger unfolds. The camera follows the forger, on his way to make new victims. He does not think of himself as crook but as someone with a hobby.
