In 2010, Belgian choreographer Alain Platel asked some transvestites of a certain age to step back into the spotlight for one last time and perform the glamorous show "Gardenia ". It was a decision that would radically change their lives. After two years of touring the company will return to Ghent for a final performance for the home crowd.
