The late sixties. A young boy and his parents attend a mass, and the child throws up. The boy grows up to be a film maker and wants to find out what upset him so much back then. In his search, he meets three priests who are now outside of the church, voluntarily or because they were forced to. He also meets a woman who, despite her faith, was never able to claim her position in the Church. A sincere portrait of the people behind the institute.
