Le CampJean-Frédéric de Hasque

The Agamé refugee camp in Benin does not look like a temporary settlement. The tents and houses alongside the road show that this is a village, which was hurriedly been moved to a different location. The UNHCR logo has all but disappeared from the sails, more and more tents are replaced by mud houses. Every day the inhabitants balance the fear of having to relocate again and the desire to build something that could become a home. This incredible and poetic film offers a unique look at daily life in a refugee camp.
