New Talent Showcase

ARTES, powered by SABAM, has been a partner of DOCVILLE for many years and supports audiovisual authors through scholarships - financial support for young filmmakers. ARTES also coaches and advises new film talent. As in previous years, ARTES launches a New Talent Showcase. As a result, a number of talented and promising new documentary makers deserved a spot in this year's DOCVILLE program and will get the opportunity to show their work.

Klein Boekarest

Every weekend Western European parking lots are flooded with thousands of Eastern European truck drivers. “Klein Boekarest” is a tragicomic documentary portraying one of the rest stops where Eastern European truck drivers gather to spend their time off during the weekends, in an attempt to make their home sickness mrs bearable.
