On a trip to visit family in Seoul, an Australian-Korean interpretor is presented with a DVD by two North Korean defectors. They ask her to translate the film and post it online. It lashes out against the Western visual culture and calls to fight its slavery to consumption. At a rapid pace, the extremes of Western culture pass across the screen: as funny and one-sided as it is, "Propaganda" also holds up a mirror to the Western audience.
