After 50 years, 82-year-old Dane Jørgen Vig Lauersen finally sees his dream come true . A lon gtime ago, he bought a great castle to one day turn into a monastery and now the time has come. A delegation of Russian nuns, led by the young Sister Amvrosija, has come to inspect his castle , not much more than an imposing ruin, to see if it would be suitable as a monastery. The ambitious nun has her own idea of how things should go in a convent and she insists on several renovations. Many more than Mr. Vig had in mind.
