This Changes EverythingAvi Lewis

What if the fight against global warming is our best chance at building a better world? This Changes Everything follows seven communities across five continents and their epic battle against global warming.

This Changes Everything, based on the book by Naomi Klein, is an attempt to think differently about global warming, to see it as an opportunity to create a better world, a more fair place. It is not meant, like so many other environmental documentaries, to scare the viewer. It wants to provide the strength and the courage to make real changes.  The documentary by Avi Lewis takes us to all corners of the world, from Montana in the United States to South India and Beijing where he shows how they deal with the crisis there, on the front line of global warming.

Naomi Klein narrates this documentary and connects all these warrior stories with the economic system which has placed them in that position. Throughout the documentary, she works towards one of her more radical ideas: that we can use the existential crisis that is global warming to replace our failed economic system with something radically different.
