Village at the End of the WorldSarah Gavron, David Katznelson
Niaqornat, a small village in the North of Greenland, counts more dogs than inhabitants. For some, the simplicity of life in the remote fishing town makes it a true paradise. Others, like Lars, the only teenager in the village, dream about leaving and discovering the rest of the world. Lately, rising unemployment and melting ice caps have been unsettling the peaceful community. A clever, surprising and ultimately cheerful story about a resourceful community trying to survive in difficult circumstances.
