This film tries to enter into the dark, tormented world of musician Matt Elliot, who is best known for his one-man project Third Eye Foundation. During rehearsals, interviews and in his writing he opens up to the film makers. In between some funny intermezzos he talks - with devastating candidness - about his depressions, the magic of inspiration and his strong political views. His music, both intimate and threatening, is his protection against his demons. An intimate portrait, rendered even more stunning thanks to its sober black and white style.
