The Child Helpline of the Netherlands is available for all children and youngsters between the age of 8 and 18 years who wish to speak confidentially. L I S T E N gives a discrete inside look at the conversations that the children have for the helpline.

Ranging from divorced parents and loneliness to struggles with their sexuality; everyone who calls the Child Helpline meets a sympathetic ear. Sometimes the conversations are more light-hearted and even humorous. Each audio fragment of the conversations is parred with fitting images, sometimes colourful and expressive, other times modest and confusing.

 

This short film will be screened before the feature film 69 Minutes of 86 Days.
