CANVAS has a soft spot for documentaries and has been DOCVILLE’s media partner for many years. CANVAS not only hands out a CANVAS Jury Award but also supports the festival promotionally. And each year, they present their own program during CANVAS night. This year’s choice is Waiting for August, a film by Teodora Ana Mihai about the Romanian Georgiana, who at 15 years old must become the new head of her family when her mother leaves for Italy to work there.
