In Moving Mountains, Renko Douze, follows hydrologist Walter Immerzeel and his team during an expedition in the Himalayan mountains. In their tent camp high in the mountains, he meticulously monitors variables such as snow, temperature, air pressure, wind speed and so much more using more than 200 instruments. Based on those measurements, he is able to make a very accurate prediction about the region's water cycle. That prediction is crucial for the millions of people who live in the climate-sensitive regions around the mountains.
