Garrison and Kevin, both teenagers, are best friends. In the boring, dusty suburbs of Santa Clarita, California - marred with empty pools and abandoned concrete constructions - the kill time by skating and hanging around. Everything changes when Skye enters their world and puts pressure on their friendship. A stunning story about teenage friendships, first love and the slow transition of a carefree childhood into adulthood. 'Only the young' is an intimate and honest slice of life, a film that gets under your skin.
