Loha Singh is an electrician in Kanpur and is considered by his peers as the Robin Hood of his time. In this Indian city, over 400.000 inhabitants have no access to electricity and so Singh decides to tap free power from the rich for the poorer neighbourhoods, through illegal connections. One of his main opponents is Ritu Maheshwari, the no-nonsense CEO of Kesco, India's largest electricity provider, as their profits plummet. This brooding chaotic film has a warm heart, just like the city where the story takes place.
