In Jaffa, near Tel Aviv, Jews and Palestinians live side by side. In this volatile district Mr. Pierre - a renowned style dancer – tries to get Palestinian and Jewish children together for ten weeks in a row to learn all about ballroom dancing. But how can you dance together when you are not allowed to touch each other? Barriers are dismantled and distrustful children turn into real 'stars' on the dance floor. With each dance step the charismatic Mr. Pierre brings lives in motion. The premiere is followed by an introductory ballroom dancing lesson for teenagers!
