Future Shocked is a director's personal quest. He looks for answers to questions that Generation X, sandwiched between the "wokers" and the "boomers", struggle with today. Based on interviews with moral philosophers Patrick Loobuyck, Tinneke Beeckman and Katleen Gabriëls, sociologist Walter Weyns and psychologists Herman Konings and Tom de Bruyne, and illustrated with lots of video footage, the film provides insight into how social change works, why our moral landscape is changing so much and how we can counteract polarization.
